Batman: Arkham Knight

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 03:30 0 comments
Batman has been a hot issue for these few days ever since the game release and badly criticize from Steam users, Warner Bros even announce they decided to suspend the sales until they fix the PC performance issue.

I'm planning to try the game but seems like I'd better wait till they fix the issue since I'm playing on PC. Oh well... decided to kill some time by visiting Deviant Art and check out if there's anything interesting :P

I found out some pretty cool Wallpapers done by MinionMask:

If you like his work, he also accepts wallpaper request so just head over and drop him a message!

Final Fantasy XIV "Eorzea Symphony"

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 02:30 0 comments
I've been playing Final Fantasy XIV for some time and I can definitely conclude that it is the best MMO that I've ever play <3

I'm currently playing the new expansion "Heavensward" and it has not disappoint me so far. Even the commercial for Heavensward is top class... very impressive indeed! Now take a look and tell me what you think :P

So cool right? I was discussing this with my friend and we thought it could be done with CGI... but we have never been so wrong. Lesson learnt: Don't underestimate Japanese level.

Check this another 2 min Commercial again and think again:

As seen from the video description:
“Eorzea Symphony” is a sound installation which plays FINAL FANTASY’s theme song with the sound effects made by 143 laptops and one player piano. 9 Surfaces, 7 MacBooks, 53 Latitudes, 6 G tunes, 2 Unit coms, 1 msi, 10 Gallerias and 2 iiyamas – all 143 laptops in total plus 1 automatic piano are synced by a unique algorithm. The players’ actions in a game setting “Eorzea” create a brand-new symphony."

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW O_O

Still can't believe? See The Making Movie below and see how they get it done.

They even created a special site for this: http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/3.0cm/

You can event go and have a visit as there is event that is open to public to experience "Eorzea Symphony"! How i wish I live in Japan :(

I have been actively follow up The Witcher 3 on social media and this caught my attention - The Witcher 3 cosplay! It was really impressive.

What say you? It's simply beautiful! This lady totally nailed it.

Some fans even commented they would ask the developers for this XD
It'll be great if there is this Special Edition of Witcher 3, lol.

Meanwhile i will enjoy this launch cinematic trailer until I can play the game. Seriously, they should make a movie for The Witcher <3

Tree of Savior is coming to Steam!

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 02:18 0 comments
I still remember the days I used to play Ragnarok Online (RO) with my friends, it was my first MMORPG game, sure do bring back lots of memories ;) ever since that, i fall in love with gaming!

When i heard Ragnarok 2 is out (i think it was about 1 or 2 years ago), I tried it with my friends again. However, i would conclude that Ragnarok 2 is very very fail.... I quit RO2 after 1 or 2 months playing because of two main problems: LAG & BUGS.

Well, enough ranting! Now, we are talking about Tree of Savior! What does it have to do with Ragnarok? Check this out:

Kim Hakkyu, the Project Director of “Arcturus”, “Ragnarok Online”, “Granado Espada” and “Wolfknights” will be starting the first Closed Beta Testing (CBT) for his new MMORPG, Tree of Savior (TOS). The CBT will begin on January 15th to 18th for a total of four (4) days.
Tree of Savior is famous for being the successor of “Ragnarok Online (RO)”.Those who have played RO are familiar with its 2.5D graphics and an isometric viewpoint of the surrounding. Tree of Savior is similar, but with improved graphics. Gaming mechanics however resembles more of an earlier creation of Kim Hakkyu titled “Arcturus”.

To me, Tree of Savior looks more like the real RO2! Take a look at the gameplay video and you will know why.

Can't wait for this game after Steam has officially confirmed Greenlit

This couldn't been done without the support of the community, as mentioned by TOS Team:

Tree of Savior is now Greenlit within less than 10 hours after we made the submission.

It's awesome :D

However, they have not confirm on the actual release date. I will be patiently waiting for this game. If you would like to know more update on the game development, go ahead and check the developer blog HERE

DIY for My personal things.

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 22:33 0 comments
I love to do something DIY. My mom taught me some when I were little. We are really traditional family.
Today, I am going to teach you guys how I make my personal things. It is really fun and hopes you will enjoy.
First, you need to buy the any kinds of pads. Or you can make it for the tissue bag as well.

Second, prepare some fabric square you want for the back of your pouch. Put the fabric FACE UP on a work surface. Mine is face down. Don’t make that mistake! Take the other squares and fold them in half and “finger press” them as shown. One rectangle to the bottom half of the base square with open edges out and folded side in. Add another rectangle to the right side of the square the same way, folded side in. Start sewing in the top corner of the pouch. Sew a straight line leaving about a 1/2″ seam allowance.

Once you done you will be very proud of yourself. It does really easy and cute!

Celebration in Korean BBQ

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 12:41 0 comments
Today we celebrated my anti son’s 1st Birthday at this restaurant with 30 guests. It was a fun birthday party and the food was wonderful.  Koreans call the first birthday “Tol” and often times there is a “Toljabee” event. This event is considered the highlight of the party because the birthday boy/girl is dressed in traditional Korean garments called “Tok-Bok” or “Ham-Bok”. The child sits in front of a table full of festive fruit, rice cakes, and other food along with the Toljabee items.

A reason why we picked this restaurant because of the owner they all came from Korea as well. And it is a whole new cuisine. Their foods are really traditional and very fresh. If you ever been to Korean BBQ that you must to know cook your own food it does really lets you fully immerse yourself in the dining experience. A Korean BBQ restaurant is a magical paradise food ever. Every table has its own built in personal grill. You do all of the cooking, with some help from the servants.

In addition, this place is all you can eat which means you can eat whatever you want. There will be plenty of food to go around during meal time. You can keep ordering a couple of dishes of meat and keep ordering more as you finish and determine what you like. The owner is really friendly. They would not distribute your dining time. And they will ask you if you need more or other things and set no time limits. This is the way how friendly we used to treat others.

What a hilarious “GT80 Game Like a God”

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 11:20 0 comments
What’s a hilarious “Game Like a God”
Shout out to GT80 Titan fanatics for the features and should out to MSI for making such an incredible impact. I do love all kinds of gaming things. And this laptop is the best laptop for heavy games. Furthermore, I want to say this machine is the FIRST I ever seen as powerful as I expected. I got this on White Valentine’s day. I brought this GIANT as my valentine’s gift. I am spending my 2015 White Valentine’s day with this GIANT alone. What a hilarious. Playing and spending time with GT80 Titan. So it becomes my family now. Actually my GT80 TITAN baby is very unique. Until now, no one can compete with. The GT80 is providing for world Top Gamers or the hardcore gamers. Wish someday I can become one of those TOP GAMERS.
These days my GIANT  BABY gonna be a big part of my life, but I’m gonna try to use it in a more healthy way.

The GT80 Titan has the first mechanical keyboard in the world (I am really honor to be one of the FIRST!) It delivers the great firm feedback and comes with the most powerful gaming machines with premium specs I was looking for. As I know, it's already including the best features which are gamers’ favorite the most. Can you see the keyboards are so spectacular? The keyboard is designed with Cherry MX switch which makes the GT80 look marvelous and spectacular.

The most popular type of tactile, non-clicky switch is the Cherry MX Brown. The switch is a good middle-of-the-road option appropriate for both typing and gaming. They are also ideas for typing in office environments, where a clicky switch might annoy some. Clicky switches add a deliberately louder ‘click’ sound to the existing tactile bump, allowing for greater typing feedback. It makes me think that maybe I spend way too much time stuck down like this.

Also features the num pad is the trackpad. On the upper left of the trackpad, where a num lock key would be is a toggle that allows you to between modes.
It also means there's no room for a trackpad, so instead this is set off to the side where it also doubles as a number pad, with a touch button for switching between the two modes.

The GT80 Titan features an 18.4 inch display with 4K Full HD screen and monitors. Also, it comes with the most powerful components which have NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX SLI 980M discrete GPU. I will be able to enjoy games or any entertainments at once. Even though with undeterred for other online-heavy games as well. It offers the fastest response times and perfect for gaming experience something never thought. I suggested that whoever want to buy the GT80 and have budget concern. They may go visit the store and test a water first that would be the best.

There is a dragon design on the upper of the keyboard. Actually that is a cover which can removable and you can easily slide off. You can upgrade the hardware and ram. It sort of customized your gaming laptop. I never heard of any laptop can do such incredible thing like this. That’s why I keep mentioned this is the first one and ever laptop you can DIY by yourself.

Let’s take a look regarding the left edge. It has an air vent, Kensington lock slot. And also have the blu-ray drive and an SD card slot. It got three USB3.0 ports and optical audio and then two 3.5mm audio connectors which are GOLD plated which deliver the most advanced hearing experience on gaming laptop, averagely enhance 30% of the sound signal. I have to say once you put on the headphone and play the games. You definitely may identify the position of the enemies and minimize the distortion, which is the perfect design for gaming headset spec. You really can enjoy the atmosphere.

So move on, on the right side, there are two USB 3.0 ports which sit beside the air vent. In terms of overall dimensions, the GT80 Titan is weighed in at 4.5kg and 4.9cmin thickness. It is truly 18.4” with the slimmest gaming laptop in the world.
And at the front side of the GT80 Titan SLI has a dragon shield status LEDs with dual mini DisplayPort connectors, then get an HDMI 1.4 port.

On top of that, the GT80 provided stronger feedback than I’ve experienced on most of the gaming laptops I’ve played. Too many people see playing games as a bad thing. I see it as being one of the best advantages that you have. I feel like I play it more compulsively than I imagine, but maybe for not quite as long as we’ll see what happens tomorrow. It wouldn’t kill me to keep my head here, more often during the day and my life. I’m trying to get off my GT80 GIANT BABY so I can go to bed……now!

Street food- Boong-uh bbang

Posted by The Pixel Doll at 07:08 0 comments
When I was little, my mom used to prepare a pack fish pancake before I go to Sunday school at church every Sunday. It called "Boong-uh bbang" in Korean.

People usually eat this during the winter. Goldfish Pastries tasted so yummy...especially with chocolate. This is such a heartwarming-filled with childhood-memories illustration. It is wonderfully composed. This street food comes from South Korea. They usually come with the ice cream, a rice wafer in the shape of a goldfish is filled with creamy vanilla or sweet syrup. Sometimes they will put some ice cream with a layer of sweet red bean paste beneath top shell. It is the ice cream version of the Korean Street Food. The creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had. The vender not serves only with fish shape but also have waffle, stars, chestnut…etc. Also, the Boong-uh bbang has different flavors such as green tea rice cake/mocha layer, chocolate, banana, strawberry…ect. You can choose whatever you want. It was very simple and easy to make the one I had when I was young.

Maybe you could try some next time when you at home. The home made must be totally terrific excellent than others. Make your own Boong-uh bbang.

Anipang 2

Anipang 2
This one is the first version released on 2012. During 2012, there are now similar types of games come out at the same time such as Bejeweled-like puzzler created by the South Korean startup developers SundayToZ. And I love this one because it’s cute also its Korean language as well so I can read and play easily. (that’s the main point. kk)

But in 2014, they had a new version “Anipang 2.” Every character and icon comes up with cutesy and, funny, witty, ingenious, and adorable. Also their back ground music is just as good as first successful game on messaging app KakaoTalk’s gaming platform. This new version makes me want to play and play all the time. Once you play just cannot stop playing. You might get so many different rewards in daily mission. There is a lot of potential here to keep you coming back for more.

Recently, I’m playing this game during my lunch break, doing exercise, on the bus…etc.

Actually you don’t have to think anything that just really simply to make you happy, only needs to play and success in the daily achievement. See very simple and kill your time whether you are sitting in a waiting room before your next appointment, waiting in line, or simply have a lunch break. Addition, I recommended this game to friends who wants to learn their second languages; you might start to consider to play this game.
